Neon Lights

I took this picture the other night in Providence, Rhode Island. I had a vision in mind of shooting next to neon lights but they are hard to find without looking awkward in front of a bar. We ended up finding this light in front of a closed down tattoo shop. Kristin was super patient with me throughout the shoot, despite the fact that I wanted to stay forever. This ended up working out perfectly to look like a good and evil or heaven and hell imagery. What I mean is that the top right corner has a cool blue and the bottom left corner has a darker feel. My camera for the night was a Nikon D810 with a 50mm f/1.4. I hope you like the results. Please follow and like...

Jackson Hole

This is an old shot from when I was visiting Mormon Row near the Grand Teton Mountains in Jackson Hole. I have other shots that I posted previously, entitled Mormon Row and Grand Teton, from the same area. This is one of my favorite spots on the trip. I was surprised at how amazing this place was considering I had pretty low expectations for Wyoming. Wyoming and Oregon are tied for my favorite states. I was expecting to use a wide angle lens to take this shot but I ended up having to use a 70-200mm. This helped compress the background and bring the building closer to the mountains. In reality, it is much further than it looks in this picture. I have been editing single photos more often lately instead of multiple bracketed photos. Unfortunately, I got here midday, but the sun still made for a nice shot. Hope you like the results. Please follow and like...
